Today I finished sewing a simple dress for my daughter's dance thing. While it is not perfect and the zipper gave me a few more gray hairs, all in all I am content. And a bit surprised. My previous batles with the sewing machine haven't always ended triumphantly.

It isn't actually art, I know. But as in everything, first must come practice. Perhaps by the time such fineries are allowed, I will be creating glittery, stoned masterpieces. Even though I predict I will always use ready made basic patterns. That's much like my 3D stuff too, isn't it?
